Next to creating awareness around D&I they also want to attract and assist law students from a more diverse background. They strive to do better, be better, and make an impact.
Dentons Amsterdam just issued a special Diverse Excellence Scholarship program which is directed at law students who are currently in the last year of their bachelor studies at a Dutch university, and who would like to pursue a master’s degree in the Netherlands.
The scholarship will provide two talented students with funding to further their education at a postgraduate (Master) level, as well as an opportunity to obtain a work student placement at the Dentons office in Amsterdam. The students are included in a mentoring program that pairs them with a partner and associate who provide insight into life at the world’s largest law firm.
With this initiative, they wish to encourage, motivate and assist law students from all backgrounds, inclusive of race, ethnicity, faith, religion or spiritual beliefs, gender, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, abilities, social perspective, and other characteristics.
